Need help with Photoshop!

Been wondering about something in photoshop lately. Maybe someone can help me? *hopes* I was wondering if anyone knows how to color lineart? Not as in coloring pics, but coloring the actual lineart itself. I know there's a certain way to do it, I just can't find the tutorial I once had! >_< Can anyone help me? I'd really, really appreciate it!
